My name is Kelli and I live in Vegas and have stayed home with my 2 boys since moving here almost 6 years ago. During this time I think I've lost a little bit of who I am. It happens to the best of us stay at home moms, we tend to put everything we have in to our families and homes and we forget about us. It's OK. It's normal.

Any way, I recently had the pleasure of seeing the movie Eat Pray Love and it's inspired me to rediscover MYSELF. Now, I can't afford to run off to 3 different continents, nor do I really want to....but what I can do is something I used to love to do and did all the time.....PAINT.

A few days after the movie I came across an inspiring blog about a girl who takes a $1.00 thrift store dress a day for a year and turns them in to lovely frocks. I thought it was such a wonderful way to kind of force your creative mojo to the surface!

Now I'm not as ambitious as she is. I can barely follow through with taking vitamins everyday for a week! So, I've set myself a more realistic goal. One painting a week for one year. I figure my paintings are always simple and if they're only 12x12 they shouldn't take too long to finish. Besides, I have plenty of friends and family to use as subjects.

So I've set up this blog so you can all keep up with me as I take my own journey of EPL.........Peace Paint Love. Don't be surprised if you find yourself on my canvas. Let the journey begin....
